Hotels and resorts tend to have an exponential amount of onsite amenities which can be great for some people. The only issue in this model is that a guest may be intrigued by a given room and perhaps the location but may not require 90% of the amenities that are already cost factored into their room rate. Thus the guests end up paying more for less. Alternatively, there are seemingly a never ending growing list of vacation rental spaces on the market but a vast majority simply offer the guest the bare essentials and with little to no human interaction with the management or onsite staff.

MAYAN MONK provides the option to have the comfort level of a hotel whilst being able to take advantage of vacation rental affordability. We do this by allowing you to dictate which amenities and experiences you will both require and or desire during your stay with us. We also offer an on site concierge team during office hours who can assist you with booking tours, making a restaurant reservation and much much more. The apartment is located in a building with 24 hour security that allowed access to check in at any time. MAYAN MONK is located just meters from the beach and is just a skip and a jump from the famous 5ave in Playa Del Carmen. Playa Del Carmen which is located 45 minutes down the highway from the Cancun International Airport is truly a world famous beach destination. After visiting the beach, it wont take long to understand why. Playa Del Carmen is also only 45 minutes away from the TULUM RUINS and a fun 30 minute ferry ride to Isla Cozumel. One of the more unique experiences that the Riviera Maya has to offer are its mystical cenotes. Conveniently, there are an abundant of jungle cenotes located within minutes of Playa Del Carmen. Not only do you have the options to go to Cancun, the islands of Cozumel or Isla Mujeres, Tulum, and many other towns pueblos but you can stay right here in Playa and have a vast array of options on how to spend your day. There are many things to do here that could be considered that of the traditional aspects of Mexican culture or you can walk the famous 5th ave and shop till you drop and perhaps visit many of the 5 star quality restaurants that offer tastes from around the world.
