Stay in a custom-crafted, natural-building separate bedroom/studio in a remote, private, forested setting in the mountains. The studio is entirely your own space and is separated from the main house, but you have access to the main house for full kitchen and bathroom. The studio is essentially a detached bedroom, although it has a mini sink, mini-fridge, counter, toaster oven, and tea kettle. There is a queen-size bed plus a twin bed in a loft (low ceiling), so . Parking is in a shared driveway and then the studio is up a series of steps and up a trail from the main house, approximately 100 feet. It is a beautiful, temple-like space constructed of stucco on strawbale, so it is very well insulated and can stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter with the propane stove.

The property is very remote and private, with 33 acres and two perennial creeks to explore via hiking trails. The land is steep, mountainous, and forested so you’ll get your exercise in. I’m the only other resident (with my friendly dog), although I occasionally have guests staying with me in the main house. If you prefer a time with no other guests, please message me first to inquire about that for the dates in which you’re interested.

There's essentially no cell service for most of the property, but there's WiFi via Starlink. Smoking allowed only outside, no smoking inside including vapes. I look forward to welcoming you!
