Our recommendations are: Bar - 'The Finnieston' is a local gin bar that also serves great seafood. Restaurant - 'Porter & Rye' is a great place to get a top quality piece of cooked meat. Others - 'The SSE Hydro' is minutes away and is quickly becoming one of Scotland's premier music venues. For food shopping there is a Nisa Local convenience store at 70 Lancefield Quay and a Sainsburys Local at 32 Anderston Quay (a 2 minute walk away). The flat is a few minutes from Buchanan Street and George Square with it's many speciality shops and restaurants. For those who like some green space the Festival Park is a 11-min walk away. Similarly, the SSE Hydro and SECC are a 10-min walk from the apartment. Glasgow has an excellent transport system with frequent buses and subways to most locations.
