Welcome, and thank you for choosing to stay here. This is my home, and I want it to feel comfortable for both of us. A few guidelines to help us share the space well: Quiet Hours Please keep noise to a minimum between 10 pm and 7 am — this includes music, phone calls, and moving around loudly in shared spaces. Cleanliness Leave shared spaces — kitchen, bathroom, common areas — as clean as you found them. Wash your dishes promptly, wipe down surfaces after use, and dispose of trash in the bins provided. A little care goes a long way to keeping our shared space tidy. Communication Style I'm a high-functioning introvert. I'm happy to answer questions and help you get settled, but I may not necessarily be joining you for long conversations or social time. If you need something, please just ask — I'd rather you speak up than go without. Text or a quick knock works great. Working From Home I work from home during the day, so you may hear me on calls or meetings. I ask for the same courtesy in return — please keep daytime noise at a considerate level, especially in the hours I'm likely working (roughly 8 am – 5 pm on weekdays). Guests This is a private home. Please remember to ask first if you wish to bring a guest to the house for a visit. Common Areas Help yourself to the shared spaces, but be mindful that we're sharing them. Return things where you found them, and let me know if something runs out or needs attention. Smoking & Substances No smoking indoors. Please ask before assuming anything else is welcome. Respect the Space Treat the home and its contents with care. If something breaks or goes wrong, please let me know right away — accidents happen, and I'll always appreciate honesty over silence.
