Everyone is welcome here, and that includes Lagos itself. The town doesn’t have a separate gay scene because it doesn’t need one: bars, beaches, and restaurants are relaxed and inclusive throughout. The eastern end of Meia Praia is the area’s long-standing gay-frequented beach, now a laid-back naturist stretch. For a night out, The Loft in Portimão is 20 minutes away, and Connection in Albufeira is about 50. Ask us anytime, we’re happy to point you to current favourites.
