Room#2 Loft at La Casa Guadalajara

La Casa Guadalajara is a wonderful place to stay! The onsite host is exceptional! The house is beautiful and well cared for and clean and safe. Each of the rooms has its own bathroom with large well appointed showers. The rooms are very comfortable, have great beds and are spacious. The owner provides a full kitchen for the use of guests. The house layout surrounds a large open courtyard with plants and flowers that provides both areas of shade and a sunny rooftop available for the use of guests. The location is ideal for exploring Guadalajara's cultural and historic venues and is convenient to gay venues. The location is close to the metro and the host does a great job of explaining how to get around the city and things to see and do. The location is also close to a great local market and very good restaurants. I had a great experience here and highly recommend this location with an outstanding host.

Excellent host. Octavio met us at the door, gave us a tour of his place, and answered every question. The room and house was perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water.

Another great stay here. Was here for 3 weeks. This is one of the best locations, very walkable to anywhere you want to go in Centro. If going further the train is a block away. Was in room 3, very spacious room with window opening to a little courtyard. The place was very clean. Octavio is very helpful and goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. Will definitely stay here again.

Octavio's hospitality is exceptional, he helped us with everything including carrying our luggage, he is a very attentive person and always mindful of our needs, we will definitely return, highly recommended, thank you very much Octavio for making us feel at home,,

Great experience in a home with a beautiful courtyard comfortable bed and great friendship

This is a property traveler's return to. There are three rooms and both of the other travelers were return visitors who love Octavio's (and Bill's) place. It's a great location being close to historic sites and lots of markets and food. A short walk to Colonia Americana gives you upscale restaurants, cerveceria's and cocktail bars. The rooms are spacious and the common spaces are inviting and easy to lay around in with other guests or find a quiet corner to read. Octavio's roof apartment opens onto a massive roof deck with an assortment of chaises, tables and chairs, sunny and shady spots. Downstairs, the rooms open onto two open courtyards with a trickling fountain. Octavio's constant welcoming attitude is the factor that gives the place a 5-star rating.

The best experience I've had in a long time, my stay was short but I had a great time, the boys Luis and Octavio took great care of me the whole time, they took great care of me and we left on great terms, the host took me to see places that I didn't know existed. I felt more like a friend than a host, I highly recommend it. The house is very safe, very nice and clean, lots of space, it's a huge mansion and I highly recommend room 2, it's a beautiful room, the photos don't do justice to the house.

Loved this location, the house and all of the amenities. Very friendly and communicative. Close to everything that I needed in walking distance and also there's a subway if you need to travel long distance. Great night life around.
