The neighborhood is quite quiet at night and something moved by day by the schools and offices around, but very safe, nothing to worry about. We are located 5 minutes walking from the city center, with very cheap public transport from 0.80 cents of Peruvian Sol in a bus/taxi or you can also use a private taxi from the house to any part of Huaraz for 3 Peruvian soles or 1 US dollar. All very close to travel agencies or bus stations, even the nightclubs and bars are very close.

Stevens house is a really nice, clean and safe place with a nice little garden. Steven lives here with his mother and grand-mother. He himself was very friendly and polite host. He provided us with all the necessary information about the town. The place is perfect for backpackers and mountain treckers. The place is not be suitable for d and s parties 😃. We were not even sure if the host was gay or if yes, outed. We liked the place very much and prolonged our stay there for more days.
