Centrally located 2 bedroom with balcony, steps from Rhine in top location for exploring city centre. Short walk to Messeplatz (trade shows), Basel Tattoo, Roche head office, and many sights of interest.
High ceilings, wood floors, one medium bedroom (180 cm x 220 cm extra large mattress) with blackout blinds, one small bedroom/ ergonomic home office with optional guest bed ( 80 x 200 cm) and blackout blinds, well equipped kitchen including good automatic coffee/espresso machine, electric milk frother/ hot chocolate maker, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer, free laundry in basement, 4G internet, printer/ scanner, Bluetooth speakers, noise cancelling headphones, and yoga mat. Great for remote work, summer swimming (beach100m), and exploring city centre.
BASICS INCLUDED
Kitchen: Fresh coffee, teas, milk, cooking oils, spices, and condiments. Bath: Shower gel, toothpaste, shampoo, body lotion and laundry detergent.
GOOD NATURAL BEDDING
Thick natural latex mattress with camel hair/ wool topper creating dry sleep environment, good pillows including a long side sleeper body pillow for back support, cotton or linen sheets/ pillows/ duvet covers, wool or silk duvets, linen or wool blankets.

Short walk to Kunstmuseum (and many other museums), old city, Messeplatz (trade shows and fairs) and Roche head office, on a small park next to scenic waterfront walking route, cool neighborhood market at top of street Wednesday afternoons (Wettsteinmarkt), great beaches on the river start about 100 m from the apartment.
4 tram stops from main train station (SBB) and from Badischer Bahnhof (German train station inside Basel), about 25-30 minutes to airport with public transit.
Basel is outstanding for day trips as the city has frequent direct trains to Zurich, Bern, and Lucerne (all an hour or less), Colmar and Strasbourg in France (50 and 80 min), and Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany (less than an hour). I love trains so am always happy to orient you on logistics and getting the best deals on tickets.
Limitations: No lift, no television, no smoking inside (patio no problem), steep stairs.

Todd welcomed us warmly and provided us with lots of information that made our stay very pleasant. His apartment is very well located, quiet and cool at night. His balcony overlooks a green space where it's very pleasant to have meals. The location is very close (2 min walk) to the Rhine waterfront. Thank you Todd for this pleasant stay.
