Casa Amêndoa is located in Central Algarve (north of Albufeira) and is ideal for exploring the rest of the region.

We're only 10 minutes from the famous resort town of Albufeira where you can explore the 'old town' a tourist hotspot for the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The 'Strip' in Albufeira (away from the old town area) offers numerous clubs and a gay bar 'Connection gay bar' there is also a gay cruising sex club near by. Gay night clubs can also be found in Portimão (The Loft) and Faro (Prestige Dance Club).

Numerous beaches are in easy reach, the closest which offers a gay & nudist area and a wooded cruising area by the car park is Praia Grande (de Péra), 15-20 mins from the property.

Visit the ancient capital of the Algarve, Silves. Silves is a historic and traditional town, with a red brick castle that dominates the skyline.

The Algarve also offers numerous golf courses, for golf enthusiasts.

Close to the villa is the 'AlgarveShopping' centre - 127 shops including food hall (fast foods and local Portuguese cuisine on offer), if you want some retail therapy or just want to grab something to eat. There is also a larger shopping centre in Loulé - called ‘Mar Shopping’.

The Spanish border is only 1 hour's drive, from the property and you can visit Spanish border towns such as Ayemonte,, Isla Cristina, Huelva, and not to mention Seville (easily done as a day trip).
