The Neighborhood

Less than 5 minute walk to the picturesque promenade and bathing beaches of Tel Aviv that stretch from north Tel Aviv to the port of old Jaffa, with all its coffee houses and restaurants. All of this combined with the view to the sea. less then 10 minute walk to the well known beautiful "neve-zedek" neigborhood. Less than 15 minute walk to the flea market of old Jaffa. Where you can look for a bargain, trying to find some antique souvenir, have a coffee or dine amid the enjoying atmosphere of the market especially on the weekends. Less than 15 minute walk to the old city of Jaffa with its nice and elegant galleries and shops, visit the historic site excavation telling the story of Jaffa. You can enjoy the sea view from the top of hill. If you want you can just stroll through streets of Jaffa and discover the daily activates of the local population, the Jewish and Arab. Parallel to Ha-Carmel Street, the location of the “HA-Carmel Market Apartments”, runs the known hangout place "Nahalat Binyamin" St. with its artistic stands, coffee houses, restaurants and shops. Just cross the Allenby St, from the east side of Nahalat Binyamin St and you are on the Shenkin St which is a known Tel Aviv hangout place for all ages.

Getting Around

200 m' from us, there is the "ha-carmelit" bus staition. from there it is less then 4 minute walk.

Other Things to Note

Although “HA-Carmel Market Apartments” don’t serve meals, you can find all your dining wishes just walking out of the apartment. If you prefer to prepare your own meals you can find fresh products on the market. From all season available vegetables, fruits, meat and dairy products. If you prefer for somebody else to prepare your food you can dine in one of the many restaurants around, or quick food stands which serve a variety of exquisite dishes. If you need organic product visit the “Nitsan Haduvdevan” grocery store, located 2 minute walk from the apartment and buy your products.
