Finca La Milagrosa - Casita De Las Estrellas

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rhod and Chris's place at their Finca, La Milagrosa, in Tenerife, and it was nothing short of amazing. I was looking for a peaceful getaway on the island, and that’s exactly what I found. The space was natural and bright—tidy, cozy, and incredibly private. I had my own terrace and even a piece of the garden where I could wander, relax, or simply soak up the sun, perfect setup. The equipped kitchen—I had everything I needed to cook and take care of myself with ease. The bed was extremely comfortable, making it hard to get up early in the mornings. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts, Rhod and Chris. They were always available, whether I needed help, local tips, some great conversation or just a day to myself. Their warmth and hospitality went above and beyond, making me feel right at home. I’ll cherish the lovely talks we had and the invaluable advice they gave me for exploring the area. I honestly have nothing but compliments for them and their beautiful finca. I truly hope to meet them again, whether it’s back at their wonderful home or in my own country. Thank you, Chris and Rod, for everything—for the amazing stay, the heartfelt conversations, and all the little details that made my time just better! I had a super comfy stay in Chris and Rhod studio. The studio is very quiet, surrounded by a beautiful garden high above the sea with great views. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything to cater for yourself. The place was clean, cosy with good vibes. Chris and Rhod are great hosts, always there for any kind of questions. Its a good place to relax, slow down and have some quiet time. I enjoyed my stay in the Finca La Milagrosa very much.

La finca was exactly what we were looking for: lovely house, peaceful, away from the crowd, in the middle of nature and bonus : a view over the ocean. We spent ten days of absolute delight, feeling at home, enjoying the private terrace and outdoor shower, having total privacy. Bonus 2 : Rhod and Chris are great hosts, respectful, generous and great gardeners (their home grown avocados are delicious!) This place is perfect for nature lovers looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday 👍

We had a great time staying at Rhod and Chris' finca. It had everything we needed and more. The finca is beautifully located, with a stunning view of the ocean. It was very clean and we especially enjoyed the terrace and the garden. We went to Tenerife mostly to enjoy the nature and Rhod and Chris gave us some amazing recommendations. We also had several wonderful conversations with the two over some drinks.

Finca La Milagrosa is a wonderful place. Situated in the mountains above Icod you have a great view to the see. Sitting on the terrace is a pleasure by itself. And one can admire the gardening around. Rhod and Chris are very friendly hosts, helpful with everything. This was the best place I stayed in on the Canaries. I fully recommend it.

We stayed with Chris and Rhod at the end of January, beginning of February 2024 and we had a wonderful stay in their finca located in the highlands near Icod de los Vinos! The house is magnificent with a garden full of flowers (incredible for us, cold-loving Europeans at this time of year, and they are both gardeners, aren't they), the terrace is incredible with a distant view of the ocean, the bedroom very beautifully decorated, with large windows overlooking the surrounding garden, with absolutely everything you need to spend a magical time, even stoves to heat things up since temperatures drop at night, due to the altitude! In short, if you are looking for a magical place, run by super nice and attentive people (we only met Chris but we imagine Rhod must be the same), then this place is for you.

A little paradise of tranquility The house is very clean, beautifully decorated, a very large bed. It's not huge but bigger than in the photos. The private terrace, with a wonderful view, in the middle of a very beautiful garden. We are far, very far from the horrors of Tenerife's tourism. And all this with the kind and very discreet presence of the talented Chris & Rhod. Very hard to leave.
