Stay in a cool, working Art Gallery/Espresso Bar in the heart of Gordonvale, just 20 minutes south of Cairns, is fast becoming ******** creative hub. A traditional little sugar town, Gordonvale is built around a thriving Sugar industry with a functioning Mill that processes cane for half of the year. Inspired by warehouse living, "The G" offers a unique experience with decor that honours and respects this beautiful 'shop house' built in the early 1900's.

Most active between 7am and 3pm week days and 7am and Midday Saturday, Gordonvale offers a unique insight into country living with Cairns only 20 minutes away. The amazing environment surrounding the town offers Rainforest walks / dramatic waterfalls and great places to swim. The Town has 3 country style pubs. Restaurants and food outlets that includes: Japanese, Thai , Bakery and counter meals. Other facilities and services include an ATM, Laundromat and large supermarket. Most everything is within 300 mts of The G.

It was lovely staying at The G! It was incredibly stylish and cool. It's in a quiet area and Rob was a very good host :)
