The bed was comfortable, the room was more than big enough - I couldn't have asked for more and wouldn't have dared. Check was as smooth as it could be. Simon is an absolute gentleman - he's kind, welcoming and very personable."

The building has excellent facilities, including a swimming pool, sauna and gym, and the apartment itself has everything you need, with a very well-equipped kitchen.
Luke and Oscar were both incredibly kind, welcoming and respectful. They gave me some great tips and recommendations about Brisbane and made me feel very comfortable during my stay.
I would definitely recommend their place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well-located stay in Brisbane. If I'm ever back in the area, I'd happily book with them again!"

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom nicely renovated with a great shower.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful (I wish I ate more in the mornings) and Martin also makes a great latte.
I enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sunshine surrounded by palms. Sadly the winter made the water too cold for swimming."

Glenn·5·Sep. 2026· "Staying with Oscar and Luke was like being in my own home. The environment in their home is clean, relaxing, welcoming and free to be you! Oscar and Luke are happy to chat over a fresh coffee made by Luke, a wine, or leave you to relax as you wish. The location of their home is fantastic, easy access from the airport by train in 20mins and a short walk away from BNEs Central Station. All major shopping malls and stores are a short walk away, not to mention multiple cafes and restaurants. River walks and Botanical gardens are also a short walk away. Oscar and Luke were quick to communicate, from the initial contact to the end of my stay. I'd definitely recommend staying with Oscar and Luke, their apartment is in a great location and they're wonderful hosts to stay with."

The place has two rooms each with their own bathroom, and the one I booked was spacious, with everything I needed. The pool was excellent and the clothing optional policy was relaxed and respectful. Public transport nearby to get into the city -- takes a little time, but still very accessible (and only 50c fares which is amazing). Was lovely to stay in a place with such a chill, community vibe."

They were very welcoming from the very first messages, to arrival, and finally our late departure as we have a late flight out of Brisbane. With plenty in common, we always had a lot to talk about and our Saturday evening turned into Sunday morning before we were done."

The apartment downstairs has everything you need (and beyond) and the outdoor area is absolutely stunning. Just a short walk from a train station to get into the city quickly, and plenty of bus options around too. Very recommended!"

He cooked a meal for me on the first night which we ate outside in the beautiful tropical garden
Overall 5 stars for everything, location, cleanliness and friendliest
I would definitely visit any accommodation Ocean might have listed"
