I have a great but small apartment in a lovely area of Madrid. I'm American but I have lived here for three years so I can give you any advice that you might need for your trip (or at least I'll try).
With this listing, I will be home. I may also put up a separate one for the whole place when I'm traveling. I can rent out my living room (a single pull-out bed and a couch) or the bedroom (a very comfy, new double bed). This is the listing for the living room. Joseph's place is very small, sometimes it is difficult to move in it because very packed. However it is very central and close to the main city attractions. Joseph is super kind, always available and helpful. We had a very nice chat and the communication was perfect. Recommended

It was really great meeting Joseph and spending time together! He recommended lots of places to visit, and we even went out for drinks together! The apartment's location was super convenient, and overall it was an excellent experience

It was only one night unfortunately. And I say unfortunately because I would have wished to stay longer. Joseph is amazing, very kind, very sweet. The apartment is as shown and very centric, very easy to get there. 10/10. Definitely would come back.

Joseph was so lovely from my initial contact throughout my entire stay. He set up everything so it was easy to find and access the apartment independently. During my stay, he was always available when I texted and thoughtfully answered questions about anything from good brunch places in the area to other practical things. The apartment is in a great location, so I could walk the area and have a fantastic time. I highly recommend staying with Joseph.
