Held late in the year, Benidorm Pride quite rightly names itself as the 'European Summer Closing Pride' event! And while Benidorm Pride only began as a small gathering in 2011, it has quickly become a huge success, with guys and gals flocking from across Europe to this warm, southern Spanish town, eager to pack in one last Pride of the year.
Much of the activity revolves around Benidorm's Old Town. There are over 30 gay bars, clubs and restaurants in gay Benidorm! Oh, and don't forget that beach! So, sold on Benidorm Gay Pride yet?
Bear in mind that this is the event program for 2019. Stay tuned for the 2020 program for Benidorm Pride, coming soon. Activities during Gay Pride Benidorm 2019 will be spread throughout the Old Town area of the city. A main stage on the beach, adjacent to the 'gay village' will host many of the big parties, with other stages positioned throughout the town too.
The official opening party for Gay Pride Benidorm will kick off on Wednesday, September 4 at Mirador del Castillo from 8pm. The free, open-air event will welcome go-go dancers, top-notch DJs, and a gorgeous setting in which to experience your pride for the night. The following day, look forward to a High Heels Race on Calle Alameda, followed by a White Party at Mirador del Castillo.
The main Benidorm Gay Pride Parade takes place on Saturday, September 7, and will kick off at 5pm along Playa Levant. Over 15,000 people are expected to attend this major event, so prepare for plenty of celebration. After all, the official pride season needs to go out with a bang! So grab your best outfit, and we'll see you at Benidorm Pride 2019.
