The Reveal
We are two Germans who have fulfilled our life’s dream with a small, luxurious guesthouse in the Cape region of South Africa. We want to enjoy our life at this beautiful place with all its beautiful moments. And that’s exactly what we want to share with our guests. With an education in the hotel industry, travelling around the world, and a lot of experience, so our guests should not miss anything at our establishment. We are very proud of our small but fine guesthouse, which we opened in December 2016 and are looking forward to welcoming you soon as our guests.
Beat the load-shedding blues with our solar-powered battery backup system. We are happy to announce that we have installed a brand-new solar system on our B&B. This translates to we can now safely say that our guesthouse will not experience any more load-shedding.

Whale Watching Season from June to November Good Spots to see Whales is Gaansbaai, De Kelders and Hermanus Land based watching is Free. Boat Based watching in Gaansbaai or Hermanus. On the Shore and Clips you might be able to see Whales very closed to the shore. In Season both Destinations can be combined to a Full Day Trip.
Hermanus Hermanus is a nice Town with good Shopping opportunities good Restaurants, nice Market by the Harbour and on Saturday the Hermanus Country Market 9-1 nice and laid back athmosphere.
Montagu Small nice town in our area. Some nice old Buildings and on Saturday a in front of the Church is a small Farmers Market. There are a good Variety of Shops and Restaurants in Town. Cape Dry Fruits Packers as well as Montagu Dried Fruits and Nuts and Locarno sell at wholesale Prices.
Via Montagu to Barrydale and the Tradoupass to Swellendam The trip is nice you visit Montagu drive on to Barrydale visit the very arty town and then drive via the Tradoupass over the Mountains to Swellendam and then return home to Bonnievale. A great Daytrip Diesel and Cream in Barrydale has great cake.
Melozhori Game Reserve Private Game Reserve in the Outskirts of Bonnievale. Daily Game Drives, Horseback Riding, Hikes, Mountain Biking, Bird Watching, Contact Lientjie ********

We have a few things we need to tell you. The use of the Pool is at your own risk and Christofphs Guesthouse will not take any responsibilities and liabilities for any damage caused by not obeying this rule. Please use the Big Blue Towels we have stored for you in the Bathroom, when using the Pool. If you smoke, please do so on the Terrace where we have an ashtray to be used. Red Wine should be enjoyed when you sit comfortable on a chair, not in Bed. We are proud to be a Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse, if you need Crockery and Cutlery for your private use on this Property please let us know in advance. Please make use of our information Desk in the main Building or/and simply ask us for assistance. Please rate us on Tripadvisor after your stay.

Fantastic!! Spacious room with a magnificent walk-in shower and a large comfortable bed. And a sumptuous spread for breakfast including a delicious omelette. The hosts were in Germany during my stay but Innocent was attentive, professional and informative. Well placed for getting to Montagu and Ashton. Most impressive - especially considering that my trip was only planned (and the room booked) the evening before I arrived. Thank you
