Welcome to Piszkowice, built in 1722 on the foundation of a medieval fortress. We've been restoring this palace since 2015 when it was near a complete collapse. We managed to reverse the fortunes of the building and although there is still plenty to do, we are proud of the progress. You can watch our story from the beginning on ********. According to our Guests, our interiors are unique for the region, very cozy and authentic and luxurious. Your stay enables us to continue our work and open new rooms and apartments for the 2020 season. Come and stay in our historic manor house- with a home-like feel.

Our region reminds us of Tuscany. With rolling hills and mountains, lush green forests and fields, rivers and lakes, it was chosen carefully when we decided to purchase and renovate the property. Endless hiking opportunities, picturesque small towns and villages, and the legacy of once German industrial region with a wealthily material culture matching even the most advanced regions of Western Europe. There had been nearly 120 castles and manors in our valley alone! While it is sad that most of them are now in ruins, they do provide a very romantic setting for photographers, urbex explorers and other more adventurous visitors.
One interesting observation continues to be made by most of our foreign visitors: They did not expect this region to be this beautiful, accessible and full of surprises. Good food, cheap beer and friendly people are in contrast to most first-time visitors' expectations. One of the best ways to explore our neighbourhood is by a bicycle- and we offer 2 high-end touring bikes to our visitors.

While we offer a fun atmosphere, we are an adult oriented guest house where people come to unwind and relax. We generally try to keep noise down after 10pm. The use of loud electronics is discouraged. We have dogs and they like to roam the house being friendly and sometimes cozy with our guests :) No smoking, no candles inside. Other than that we are very easy going.
