My property lies between two excellent country pubs and is within easy access to both Headcorn and Staplehurst mainline stations serving both London and Ashford International.
The space accessed by a flight of stairs, is a bright, airy room with a cosy double bed, comfy chair and TV all set within 4 acres which is home to me, my dog and horses.
The property consists of 3 bedrooms, a large shared bathroom, which enjoys glorious views across the land and a downstairs cloakroom. The large kitchen diner hosts a couple of comfy chairs and TV, whilst a useful conservatory provides additional relaxed seating and boot room.
The secluded patio and garden with outdoor sofas enjoys views across the land and pond which is home to various wildlife.
Sissinghurst Castle is only 10 minutes drive or a lovely walk through fields with other National Trust properties nearby.
The beautiful market town of Tenterden with its individual coffee houses and independent shops is only 15 minutes by car and the coastal cinque port of Rye with its harbour, coastal walks, cobbled streets and antique shops a 40 minute car journey so there is plenty to keep you occupied during your stay.
If you fancy a few days away in the countryside with lovely walks and local pubs and villages but still within easy reach of London, Brighton or other coastal towns then this is the ideal location.

Frittenden is a beautiful old fashioned village with a Church and Pub serving delicious home cooked food nestled in the Weald of Kent. Famous for our Treacle Mines there are plenty of footpaths to explore the local countryside, a couple of great pubs in walking distance, others just a short drive away and some amazing local attractions such as Sissinghurst Castle, Scotney Castle, Leeds Castle, Bedgebury National Pinetum, Biddenden Vineyards, Chapel Down Vineyard, Bewl Water and many other National Trust properties nearby. For those wishing to explore slightly further afield we have Canterbury, Rye, Tenterden, Goudhurst, Whitstable and Royal Tunbridge Wells all less than an hours drive away. Brighton less than 90 minutes by car or London an hour on the train.
Thank you for booking to stay with me. If you are a clothing optional guest I respectfully request this is done so discreetly and not at a time when I may have other guests in the house. There is a TV in your room however you are also welcome to relax and watch the TV whilst in the kitchen where there are a couple of comfy chairs. The sitting room is my private haven, I have a very busy work schedule so sometimes I need somewhere quiet and private to escape to. I look forward to welcoming you to my home.

Lovely countryside location, comfortable bed. No breakfast provided meaning drive to nearest town before or after checkout. Maybe just provide so self service toast and fruit?
Quiet countryside living.. Stay made comfortable.. Highly recommended..
Communication with the host was easy and helpful. A wonderful location with a comfortable room in a beautiful countryside.
Lovely house and comfortable bedroom in a very quiet location, yet in easy reach of local towns and in walking distance of a great local pub. Justin is very friendly, and knowledgeable about his part of Kent. Would definitely stay again.
Had a wonderful stay with Justin very comfortable bed is amazing very quiet and was nice just chill and unwind after a long journey down thank you for making my stay enjoyable
I could not have enjoyed my stay more. Staying with the wonderful Justin (and his lodger Patrick) was an absolute pleasure. My intent was to stay for the weekend to complete a sewing project, but I left with a fresh trim (turkish barbers in Headcorn), a near-finished project, some wonderful fabric from the nearby 'Little Sewing Shop', and a new friend in Justin. I hope to return very soon!
Justin is a very welcoming host and gave me great tips for local sightseeing. Lovely home surrounded by calm fields of sheep and horses grazing. Bunny rabbits playing on the lawn in the morning. Great location from which to visit the must see gardens of Kent. Ideal for steam train spotters too.
Justin was the perfect host and really made us feel welcome. He told us where the best places were locally. The countryside here is spectacular and if you're looking for a good break from the city this is almost perfect. We spent a nice evening in the garden eating cheese and drinking wine. It was a lovely couple of days..
I had a wonderful stay at Justin's home. Very quiet, beautifully clean and Justin was very helpful in making my stay a real pleasure. It was an ideal central location for my travels around Kent.
Justin thank you for a great stay. I was looking for a relaxing stay and I sure got it. The location was perfect. You have a beautiful home. Thank you for the endless coffee's. The bed was very comfortable and made getting up and out to explore the local area hard. I will be back. Thank you once again.
