our stay was really short but we really enjoyed using the space as our home base. The vibe was a very friendly and relaxed guest house/hostel. The hosts as well as the other guest we met were really great and we loved meeting everyone- including the super cute pup! Safe and quiet neighborhood. Would recommend. Excellent value for the money.

Dariel is an amazing host. I arrived quite late the night before my departure from San Jose after spending a week in the Nikoya area. No issue, Dariel greeted me and got me checked right in. The next morning, I took an Uber to his restaurant downtown, loved it! Had an amazing breakfast and a great mini tour through city. His pup Otto is super cute too, he greets all guests, amazing pup. Excited to come back for a longer visit in San Jose.

Easy check-in process, very friendly, and helpful with suggestions on where to eat/drink/explore. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to take part in a Costa Rican exploration.
