Marcus is so kind, thoughtful, caring, warm and friendly. Such a lovely host. Great communication, a warm welcome, very comfortable bed and accommodation, easy relaxed environment. We had an engaging and thought-provoking conversation about Marcus' work, which is really inspiring, and I was spoiled with the most delicious supper as we chatted in the kitchen. I can highly recommend anyone to meet and stay with Marcus!

Marcus is an amazing host! He was out of town for part of my stay and even then we was very communicative, helpful, and gracious. I would definitely recommend staying at his cozy and welcoming home. It's a quick ten minute bus ride to the center, and the gay area is a quick walk from there. Across from the house is a super tasty sushi spot that's open late, perfect for a post-bar snack. The best place by far we've ever stayed through Mister b&b. Marcus is a fabulous host. So very caring, helpful and hilarious. You won't believe how festive his place is! So creative and beautiful. And a great bed! We highly recommend this one!

Marcus was an exceptional host.. his home was spotless & beautifully decorated. I felt instantly welcome & comfortable. He was incredibly helpful, sharing great recommendations for local coffee spots & breakfast places. We had a lovely chat before I checked out & he was a pleasure to talk with. He even made me a wee coffee for the journey home.. couldn't recommend him highly enough!

I can't recommend Marcus as a host highly enough. He's a fabulous host and a kind person. If I ever come back to Belfast, I'll definitely stay with him again.

I had an incredible time in Belfast, and Marcus was a huge part of it. He is a special person, and someone I intend to remain in touch with. He's a fantastic host and a real gentleman. Also his place is nice lol! I had a private room with a wonderful bed to come home to. The bathroom is shared but lovely - outstanding shower! Can't wait to visit again!

This listing is on a main artery to the heart of Belfast, just a few miles from the City Hall and a swift car ride from the City Airport. It has plenty of car parks close by and is surrounded by local shops & eateries ; buses pass the front door on a frequent basis. Marcus’s home is something of an Oasis ; a calm vibe is definitely at play, juxtaposed with an arguable Bohemian style. There’s comfort and intrigue and interest in equal measure. There’s boldness too, which is reflective of Marcus’s character and his outlook on life, as influenced by his experience of it. He’s likeable, generous in his hospitality - a clever cook ! - and immediately welcoming. His back-story is not necessarily mainstream and perhaps because of this, it’s easy to pass many hours with him. Engagement with Marcus comes in the form of broad-ranging and intelligent conversation, interspersed with the odd snippet of celebrity insight - & more. He has an impressively discernible social conscience. Conversation flows ! The bedroom is large and facilitates a great night’s sleep. There’s a shared shower room down a set of stairs which does it’s job very well. Beyond all this, the kitchen and sitting room offer genuine ‘home from home’ living.... Altogether great value and a strong recommendation therefore.

What can I say about Marcus and his home that hasn't already been mentioned. All I will say is that Marcus is one of the most loveliest, knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful and considerate human beings who really does go out of his way to help you and make your trip and stay as easy, relaxing and accommodating as possible. We had many chats and laughs! He will be my go to place when I visit Belfast again. 110%. I loved the room and super comfy bed! Until next time... Jack Xx
