Philippe and Sami offer you a warm welcome in this charming 19th-century house on the town square of a small village in the Haut Anjou region, in the touristy Loir valley halfway between Tours, Saumur, Angers and Le Mans. The gîte is a self-contained accommodation open to all, with an outdoor patio and an enclosed ornamental and vegetable garden. These areas are equipped with garden and relaxation furniture. A 5-minute walk from the Loir river, close to the La Flèche Zoo, the Loire castles and the Le Mans 24-hour race circuit. Château du Lude is 5 minutes from the gîte. The forest is just outside the village. Free loan of bicycles and water sports equipment (paddle-kayaks, canoes). A peaceful place to relax in the countryside. The guest house next door to the gîte is the perfect place to exchange tourist or culinary experiences from the region or around the world. We welcome nature lovers, whether alone, as a couple, with friends or as a family.

Magnificent walks and hikes to be done on foot or by bike from the gîte (Loir valleys, Maulne valley, large forests). Predator fishing in the Loir (4 minutes walk from the lodge) or first category fishing in the Fare river which crosses the village. Canoeing & paddling in the Loir (4 mn) Aubigné-Racan archaeological site, Castle and town of Lude less than 5 minutes by car (or 20 minutes by bike). Purchases of quality farm products from local producers (fruits, vegetables, cheeses, honey, cold meats and poultry) City and Zoo of La Flèche, Pays Beaugois and its Tors Bell towers 25 minutes away. Beautiful Festive towns to visit 40 minutes away: Tours, Saumur, Le Vieux Mans, Angers (55 minutes). Route and Loire wine cellars 30-40 minutes away (Jasnières and slopes of the Loir, Saumur Champigny, Bourgueil, Anjou, Chinon).

The single beds in the two bedrooms can be converted into a King Size bed for 2 people (to be requested before arriving at the gîte). By agreeing to stay in the gîte, the traveler accepts compliance with the internal and security regulations displayed in the accommodation, in particular on the following points: -Animals not allowed (except prior and exceptional agreement of the Host) - Access to third parties other than the intended travelers must be indicated for prior authorization. - Respect for the neighborhood (no noise nuisance at night in the exterior parts of the cottage) - No smoking inside the cottage (ashtrays available in the patio and garden) - ******** to be paid on entry (€ 400 in uncashed check or ******** returned after the check-out inventory) Cleaning: no cleaning fee charged, the traveler agrees to return the accommodation in the same initial state of cleanliness found on arrival unless he chooses the paid option (80 €)
