Our farm is located in Bendola a short 10 minute drive out of Dungog towards Chicester Dam. The Dam is another 10 minutes on and is a great place to visit for a picnic. Dungog is the gateway to the Barrington Tops and is home to a few pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants.
Nerrigundah Cabins Welcome to Nerrigundah! As you will notice, the cabin comprises a lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with a queen size bed. The Blue Room adjacent to the cabin has an open plan kitchen, lounge and bedroom with a king size bed and two single beds. The bathroom is adjoining. We only accept one booking at a time, so feel free to use whatever configuration of sleeping arrangements suits your needs ie: your welcome to sleep in the blue room and use the kitchen and lounge in the cabin. Our hot water is an instantaneous gas system. The gas bottles are large, but in the event the bottle runs out, you will find them located on the western wall of the cabin. To change the bottle over, turn off the empty bottle, turn the supply cock towards the new bottle and turn the gas on. If you are uncomfortable doing this, please phone us and we will come to the cabin and do it for you. For the comfort of our future guests, smoking is prohibited in our cabins. As this is a working beef cattle farm, Bio-Security is very important to us. Please do not introduce any foreign grasses or weed to our property. The beautiful Williams River runs by our property, you are welcome to take a walk down to the river (a reasonable level of fitness is required to come back up). Please ensure you close all gates behind you and leave them as you found them. The cattle on our farm are quiet, however, please remember the cows have calves at foot and can be very protective. If you intend to go sight-seeing, we suggest you take a short 15-minute drive to Chichester Dam, and take a stroll out to the spillway. If you are lucky enough to see it spilling it is quite a spectacular sight. We hope you enjoy your stay here at Nerrigundah. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any problems or questions.
