The two houses provide the perfect gateway to Lamington National Park - one of Queensland's oldest and most loved National Parks. Each house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, lounge and dining area, decks with every room overlooking views of Numinbah Valley, Coomera Valley and the volcanic plug of Egg Rock. The outdoor spa is perched on the edge of the mountain, The spectacular architecture allows maximum interaction with nature while also providing free wifi, smart TV, free Netflix, IPod docking station, CD player and library of CDs and books. If you can drag yourself away from the magic of the house you have the National Park on your doorstep. Binna Burra is 2 hours from Brisbane Airport and one hour from Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta.)

I live in Brisbane but my favourite place for a short break in nature is Lamington National Park, 90 minutes away in the Gold Coast Hinterland. When in Brisbane, my favourite activities are cycling, yoga and stretching and going to concerts at South Bank. The comments below refer to my apartment in Brisbane - not the new listing for Alcheringa at Binna Burra.

The houses gives easy access to 147 km of walking tracks in Lamington National Park, Queensland, leading through sub-tropical rainforest and eucalypt forest to waterfalls, wind eroded caves and mountain lookouts. Prepare your own meals in the well equipped kitchen or meals are available 400 metres away at the Binna Burra Teahouse or Groom's Cottage. Most people come to Lamington for the natural attractions but for a contrast you are 45 minutes from the Gold Coast and its nightlife and theme parks.
