Room in Historic Victorian House in Coxsackie, NY

Hi, my name is Bjorn (he/him/his). I've been a professional actor and theatre producer since I was 9 years old. I purchased this house in December of 2022 to create a space for a small community of artists, writers and digital nomads, who could live and work in the sanctity and privacy of their own rooms and studios, and come together at the end of the day, if desired, to digest shared meals and the fruits of each other's labor. I also serve as President of the Board of Directors of Millay Arts, a non-profit and one of the longest running artist residency programs in the world, which has served over 3,000 artists in its 50 year history. Millay's campus is across the river in Columbia County, on the historic estate of Edna St. Vincent Millay. Out of the thousands of applicants each year to Millay's core residency program, Millay can only admit a handful of the talented blind jury-selected artists who apply, the limitations of which inspired creating more space to host more creative work by ever more artists in need of our two most valuable, non-renewable resources: time & space.
