Enjoy a comfortable stay in our flat in Columbia Heights, one of DC’s vibrant neighborhoods. Located near popular gay bars and top-rated restaurants, you’ll have plenty of options to explore the best of the local scene.
Our basement flat is well-appointed with a full kitchen, a Nespresso machine, and a cozy shared porch, perfect for unwinding. We (and our two friendly dogs, Robbie and Daphne) live upstairs, and while some noise might transfer, we’re respectful and considerate hosts. We’re excited to welcome guests who want to relax, share a drink, and enjoy the city we're proud to call home.
Be sure to check out the year-round Farmers’ Market every Saturday in Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant, just a short walk away. You’ll find locally sourced produce and more. Major grocery stores like Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are also within a 15-minute walk.
Please note that our flat is a finished basement with one lower beam. It may be a bit snug for some, but as a 5'11" host, I’ve never had any issues!

From our house, you can easily walk to some of our favorite spots, including Thurst Lounge, Crush, Trade, Number 9, Pitchers, A League of Her Own, Kiki, Licht Cafe, Bunker, Up Roar, Larry’s Lounge, and JR’s. For more options, it’s just a quick bike or cab ride to Little Gay Pub Green Lantern and others.
The nearby neighborhoods, including Logan Circle, Dupont Circle, and Adams Morgan, are super gay, where the rainbow flag is a common sight. We're in a good spot for a laid-back evening or a lively night out.

Respect the shared spaces: The porch is shared, so feel free to enjoy it, but be mindful of noise and tidiness.
Check-out is by 11 AM to allow us time to prepare for the next guest.
