Accommodation details: Enjoy the freshly renovated 2nd floor space of my 1930 bungalow home. Plenty of off street (and on street) parking awaits your arrival. Upon entry into the home, take a set of stairs to settle into your private accommodations, featuring a sleeping nook (1 queen sized bed) and a half bath (toilet and sink). A connected living and work space are included which could make for a great long stay home base. The main level kitchen, dining room, and living room are available for shared use with the home owner. The second guest full bathroom are found on the main level of the home.
Nearby attractions/amenities include: -Big box retail and grocery stores within a 10 minute drive. -Locally owned hometown stores within a 15 minute walk to the historic downtown square, including a lovely grocery store. -Several wineries/breweries/distilleries within a 20 minute drive. -Restaurants/bars within a 10 minute drive. -Peoria Heights within a 15 minute drive. -Downtown Peoria within a 20 minute drive. -Bloomington/Normal a 30-40 minute drive.
About the home-owner: From the area and recently returned after 15 years living across the US and overseas. Can be found tending to large yard and cultivating a vegetable garden. Works in International Brand Marketing.
