Should you choose to come and stay with me, you will have your own good sized bedroom with king-sized bed, but will share the shower/wc and other facilities with the owner. A simple breakfast (cereals, toast and hot drink) is included, but I am happy to provide a cooked breakfast by prior arrangement, at a surcharge of £5 per person. I can usually provide a cooked evening meal on request, or you are welcome make use of the kitchen to prepare your own food. Feel free join me in the comfortable lounge to relax- there is a log burner when the weather is chilly! - or if you would like a bit more privacy you can use the separate dining room, (suitable to use for work if needed). You are also welcome to enjoy the good-sized garden with decked seating areas.
Please note the stairs to the bedroom are narrow and steep, and the bathroom/wc is on the ground floor, so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
I do have 2 dogs, who are very friendly and well-behaved - but not good if you don't like dogs or have allergies!
The cottage is in a very quiet rural location, with easy access to the countryside, coast and local villages. It makes an Ideal peaceful getaway (just don't expect a busy nightlife!), especially if you enjoy walking or touring historic sites.
Wigtown (Scotland's National Booktown) is just 5 miles from the cottage.
The accommodation is listed as clothing optional - this means I am normally naked at home and am very happy for guests to do likewise if they are comfortable doing so. Please mention your attitude to naturism in your enquiry. If you do wish to be clothes free during your stay, please respect the neighbours (esp if using the garden, which is quite overlooked)) and be prepared to dress if I have textile visitors.
Please note this listing is for clothing optional accommodation and social interaction NOT for any kind of sexual arrangement.
