Siôr Shepherd's Hut offers a touch of glamping luxury. Our totally private hut offers spectacular views of the Irish Sea and rolling Welsh countryside. Traditionally styled and complemented with plush furnishings, the open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen with mini fridge, oven and hob as well as SMEG appliances and full sets of cutlery and crockery. The hut also has a built in dining area with log burning fire for the colder months. The modern bathroom is fitted with an electric shower, heated towel rails and ensuite toilet. Complimentary towels and toiletries are included. Outside, you have a private area with wood fire hot tub for two, large fire pit / BBQ with two loungers so you can soak up the sun or star-gaze after sight-seeing or activities. Onsite secure parking for one car and the hut has excellent WiFi service. Due to the nature of the traditional hut and the farm, unfortunately we are not wheelchair friendly and cannot allow pets. The location of Siôr is perfect for exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey and some of the most breathtaking North Wales, beaches, waterfalls and castles. With 250 miles of coastline, beaches are not hard to come by in North Wales. North Wales has many historic attractions, including the Great Orme, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the National Slate Museum, and ********ESCO World Heritage Sites. Take a tour around Bodnant Garden, an 80 acre paradise filled with plants collected by famous global explorers. Or simply step back in time in any of our Castles and indulge in a bit of Welsh culture! Surrounded by beautiful countryside you have 11 beautiful waterfalls to choose from in North Wales, as well as largest number of scenic railways in the UK. Or for a more action packed option you could go sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, coasteering, powerboating, yachting and more at Plas Menai. Or simply go surfing at the beach or at Adventure Parc Snowdonia! Take a tour around the Aber Falls Distillery at the foot of the famous Aber Falls waterfall in the village of Abergwyngregyn. There are dozens of great walks around Abergele, Pensarn, St George and the coast - from gentle strolls on the Beach or Park, to fabulous hikes in our hills and valleys. A cosy evening in one of our many local pubs is the perfect way to enjoy some quiet time after a busy day in North Wales. For a great day trip out and a vibrant LGBTQ+ scene we recommend a day trip to Liverpool - the home of the Beatles and Titanic. Bars, Cafes, shopping an eclectic range of theatre, shows and music scene - just an hours drive or a 1.5 hour stunning coastal train ride from Abergele & Pensarn Station. If group outdoors activity is your scene the Gay Outdoor Club has a friendly bunch of locals always hiking, cycling and camping in and around the nearby national parks including Snowdonia.
