Enjoy a stylish private room with private bathroom in completely remodeled historic Benton Park West 1890 brick house. Your modern room has a spacious wardrobe, a comfy bed and a window facing the back yard. The modern open kitchen and living space are great for getting to know my guests. The patio in the back yard is perfect for a sundowner. Enjoy feeling safe and secure in a house fully equipped with a security system (security cameras on the front door and back yard). I live in the house with my friendly cat Caysa.
GUEST BEDROOM: Full sized bed with cozy linens and pillows, side table with lamps and USB outlets, full sized closet for your belongings.
Washer, dryer, ironing board and iron are available for your use in the hallway closet.
PRIVATE BATHROOM: Full sized tub/shower, towels and a hair dryer. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are all provided for your use. Forgot your toothbrush? Check inside the vanity for items I have provided for you!
SHARED LIVING ROOM: Complete with a couch, pillows, and blanket, an arm chairs, a smart TV and bluetooth speaker, and record player.
SHARED KITCHEN: Everything in my kitchen is for your use! Pots and pans, cooking utensils, basic spices, oils and vinegars, water filtration and ice in the fridge, electric kettle, and a coffee maker. Full sized fridge/freezer, full size gas range/oven, microwave and a blender.
BACKYARD: The backyard is accessed through the dining area and includes a small deck with a bistro table/fire pit, grill and chairs for your use!
Only booked guests allowed, no parties, and no pets. No smoking indoors, if you smoke in the backyard please dispose your butts in the ashcan properly. Any evidence of smoking indoors will incur a minimum $200 fine.
No open fires allowed in the backyard.

We found Stefan accommodating and generous upon first contact. After a 12 hour drive we were able to settle down and have a relaxing night fueling up for the next day's drive to Chicago. We would definitely make use of there place again if in the area.

Steffen and his husband were so extremely friendly!! I was a little confused when his husband greeted me, but that was because I did not read all the messages. I booked with him only a few hours before I got there, so I was driving. He answered very quickly, and by the time I arrived I was all set. The place was really nice, very clean, and the bed was super comfy!! This was my first experience with any B&B and I am glad it was with Steffen. I would 100% recommend staying here!!

Steffen has the best property of any ******** or MrBandB I've ever stayed. Attention to detail, communicative even while at work, accommodating me in short notice, toiletries, great location to Arch, safe neighborhood, e-z check-in. The toilet paper even had hotel corners, snacks & water waiting in the room. You won't be disappointed. Did I mention host friendly and conversational? Room on 2nd floor. Quiet neighborhood

Steffen's home was beyond delightful. He welcomed me with kindness, flexibility, and a joyful spirit. When I say this was the best home share experience I've ever had, I sincerely mean it. The check in process was succinct and easy to understand. All the logistics surrounding the rental made perfect sense. Beyond that, his home is deluxe. The furnishings, cleanliness, and general ambiance were immaculate. Thank you, Steffen, for a revolutionary weekend!

I had a peaceful and pleasant stay at Steffen's place. He was a very polite and welcoming host. He did a good job of communicating with me to let me know check in procedures and house rules. His place is very beautiful and quiet. I highly recommend staying at Steffen's when visiting St. Louis.

Steffen is an amazing host and the place is a gem. His directions were precise and easy to follow; the room and bathroom, impeccable. We loved the place he recommended for breakfast. I'll definitely check for his availability next time we're in town!
