Enjoy an LGBT quiet Virginia countryside estate. 45 minutes from LGBT scene in Charlottesville. This lakefront estate is completely private to the outside world. Bathing suit is required at the pool. Features a 1930s movie theater, fireplaces, washer, dryer, plenty of places to walk and hike, close to the historic town of Culpeper where there are restaurants and shopping spots. There are several living spaces, including piano and music room, high ceiling living room , formal dining room, private bath, outdoor Gazebo and two large decks to watch wildlife or the sunrise/sunset This is a place to go kayaking or canoeing in the backyard or just sit quietly enjoying mother nature. This home is owned by actor, comedian and director Stephen Sorrentino who prefers to live quietly and enjoy kind and good hearted guests . 2 private bedrooms available with private bath. that Hosts are friendly and will interact as much as you would like.

Stephen's home can easily be described as a grand Virginian manor. The property it sits on is lake front situated with exquisite with green hills surrounding, and there is an amazing outdoor party deck with a pool. The pictures do not do this place justice. Inside the home is luxury without being stuffy; homeyness and comfort are exude in every room. The wing of the home apportioned for guests has a bedroom, private bathroom, and a large living/media room (painstakingly modeled after a 1930's movie house with fun and meaningful memorabilia displayed throughout). On top of that, Stephen makes it a point to let guest know that the whole rest of the house is also yours. Which takes me to the star... Stephen is a tremendous host. I'm not sure I can muster words to adequately convey his warmth, his charm, his stories, his propensity to engage in meaningful conversation. Anyone who can call this guy family or friend is lucky indeed. I am so grateful our paths have crossed and I am sure that you will feel the same. This BnB is a special place hosted by a very special person!

If I had to use one word to describe my experience it would be PERFECTION! Stephen and Albert were the consummate hosts eager to tend to my every need. The property is gorgeous, in a tranquil and relaxing setting. Exactly what I needed. I did not want to leave and very much looking forward to an opportunity to stay with them again. Thank you for a fantastic weekend.

Fabulous local getaway. I had a fun and peaceful time. The property is beautiful and the host is wonderful. I enjoyed the local nature during my morning walks and while at the pool. I'm definitely coming back. In fact, I enjoyed my stay so much I added another night because it seemed like the thing to do 😎
