There are many unique and wonderful places to see and experience in Tucson, too many to list here without knowing your general interests. Many great hikes, The Historic HOTEL CONGRESS has several musical venues (and is a well known place in town that makes a good meeting place). I know a few secret dive bars that are well worth checking out, if you’re in to that type of thing. If you want truly authentic Mexican Food, I know a place that has good food and a lot of charm. There are several gay bars in town, most of which are kind of meh. The good news all of the good clubs are gay-friendly.

Please be considerate of host and the creative space he has created. Be gentle with the doors, windows, and faucets. That is to say avoid forcing anything. Think of the place sort of like a wooden Japanese Tea House. Also there is a lot of art the house, some of which is for sale, if you see something you like don’t hesitate to ask. No unauthorized overnight guests. Unapproved extra guests cost $100 each. Thank you very much!

Timo's place was great. Cozy, comfortable, and clean. The shower was a little colder than what I was used to but Timo can get the water hotter if you ask. He is a real sweetie, extremely friendly and very interesting. We shared a bottle of wine and plenty of conversation. Great location, close to the university, downtown, and the freeway system. Off-street parking in a safe neighborhood. I would totally stay here again and I hope you consider it when you come to fabulous Tucson.

Timo's place is a unique place I would say it's not for the suit people. It is more for the guys with free spirit, not a fancy place but has everything someone need. Timo the host is fun we had nice conversations about everything. Easy to park, the big supermarket is right next-door and have everything you need. definitely fun place to stay
