Wonderful 2BR Condo - Walk to Bavaro Beach

Modern styled two bedroom, two bathroom condo, only a few minutes walk to the beach. The condo is in a private, gated community with 24-hour security, security cameras in property, and free, off-street parking. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two double beds. The well-maintained community with beautiful gardens and two pools is close to shops, restaurants, and other amenities. Bavaro Beach is a few blocks away, and shopping areas and the new Katamandu theme park is a short drive away. Also new and a short drive away is Paradise Garage, a drag/burlesque/acrobat show space with dinner, a bar, and a separate restaurant as well. The show is amazing and we highly recommend it!

The community water system, the condo washer/dryer, and the refrigerator were all replaced in 2023. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking a nice meal after the beach. There are two bedrooms and two baths, and it fits up to 6 people, but two to four is ideal. There is a great walk-out patio area with a table next to the garden so that you can have your coffee in the morning while you enjoy the view of the pool and the tropical landscaping. Guests have access to the entire apartment, both pools, parking, green areas, and the public BBQ.

Electricity is not included and it is charged by the Kilowatt (approximately US$.30/KW). Guests should get instructions from our local host for how to pay for electricity usage. We also collect a US$60 cleaning fee per stay at the time of checkout.

The entire community water treatment system was upgraded and or replaced in 2023. However, as in most areas of the Dominican Republic, the tap water is safe for bathing, cleaning and clothes washing only. Do not drink the tap water. Additional bottled water is available in local small convenience stores; one of these stores is located behind the complex. When exiting the gate, turn left and go to the next corner. Turn left at the corner and half way down the block on the right is the store. We also suggest running the hot water for five full minutes when you arrive to flush out any stagnant water from the hot water tank. Our local host can show guests how to use the hot water timer as well.
