One block from the Nelson and Kemper museums is a quiet building where you hear almost no noise. Close to the park and KC Art Institute.
The private room and bath are well equipped, clean and cozy. There is a large closet, comfy king bed with a warm down comforter, ceiling fan, TV, your own bathroom with a double vanity, nice shower and bidet, and of course access to all the shared spaces of the home: a kitchen with all the essentials, a living room, laundry, and dinette.
I’m not much of a breakfast person but there’s always fresh fruit, coffee (Nespresso) and toast - self serve.
Easy going home. I consider myself a TOP notch host.
FYI. I have a non-shedding, standard poodle.

This was my first visit to KC and I'm so glad I stayed at Jim's place. The suite is fully private (on a separate floor) and totally comfortable with all the amenities you could think of. The location is less than 10 minutes by car to the convention center/downtown, and also accessible by public bus (free but takes longer). Jim was a fantastic and thoughtful host who went above and beyond. He loves KC and shared a lot of great info about the city.

I really enjoyed the experience with my recent stay, and Jim is a great host. The place is clean, comfortable and within walking distance of the Plaza so a great location. I appreciate his friendliness, hospitality and attention to detail. I certainly recommend his cozy accommodation.
