Common areas that are SHARED include living room and full kitchen, laundry, back porch, and back patio. Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee on the porch or in the lovely rear garden.
Sports, theatres, downtown gay bars - 4 minutes away! Riverside, Avondale, 5 Points (with more gay bars) - 8- 10 minutes away.
We have cameras that cover the front yard and the back yard and alley.

My husband and I feel very fortunate to be both hosts and travelers. When we travel, our free time is spent exploring local sights, museums, live music and nature. Jacksonville’s Springfield neighborhood is a wonderful inclusive community where diversity is celebrated. We are blessed with a great mix of older and younger, different races, creeds and lifestyle orientations
Properties are, likewise, very diverse. Beautiful Victorian homes lovingly restored, newer houses recently built and older properties patiently waiting to be brought back to their glory.
We're surrounded by unique eateries, craft breweries, museums, theaters, local celebrations & events. As a matter of fact, you will be within 5 minutes of sports and entertainment venues, downtown Jax. LGBTQ+ venues range from local neighborhood events where diversity is celebrated, to our theatre and entertainment district and local bars. Popular gay and gay-friendly places include Hardwicks (5 minutes away), Incahoots (7 minutes away), Hamburger Mary's (8 minutes), Birdies Five Points (9 minutes), Park Place (10 minutes), Boot Rack Saloon (10 minutes).

The private bedroom and bathroom are in a SHARED house. Thank you for being considerate of others, respectful of the shared common areas, and cleaning up after yourself. Please NO EATING or drinking (other than bottled water) in the bedrooms. You are welcomed to eat and drink the common areas and porches - but not in the bedrooms. KITCHEN RULES: We are happy to allow use of the kitchen for "light cooking" (microwave, heating up foods on stove, storing leftovers in fridge). Please wash your dishes and cookware so they are available for use by other guests. Storage containers are provided to store leftover foods. There are also labels and a marker in the utensils drawer to label foods for the shared refrigerator. LAUNDRY RULES: Please remove laundry as soon as it's finished washing or drying. There is a hamper in each bedroom closet for guests to keep laundry until it's ready to be washed. REAR PATIO, FIREPIT & BBQ GRILL These areas are for the enjoyment of all guests. If you're not sure how to operate a gas firepit or gas grill, please ask, and we will be happy to show you. If you use the firepit and BBQ grill, please clean them up so they are available for use by other guests. DRUGS & ALCOHOL - Guests are expected to drink responsibly. There is NO tolerance for illegal substances or activities. None. Florida allows for Medical Marijuana. If you have a prescription, please let us know ahead of time. Otherwise, it's considered an illegal substance. Absolutely NO parties on premises. There are sports & entertainment events, bars, celebrations nearby - so... go out, have fun, and come back to the house to rest and relax! Only registered guests are allowed in the house and on the premises. No visitors, please. Quiet times between 9PM and 8AM. 2 Guest max per room (Guests must BOTH be registered with names and IDs). NO pets allowed in this room. We have a larger room that does allow a pet. NO smoking of any kind on the premises.
