Located within safe walking distance from many restaurants and bars in Kloof and Bree Street. There are various mountain trails on our doorstep and we are very close to the beaches and gyms.

"The Pines" is the second oldest home in Tamboerskloof with significant historic value. We renovated this old lady to her former glory and made sure we respected her past. The property housed the first dairy in the Cape from where slaves sold milk to merchant ships. Seeing the stunning views over the city, the harbor and the glorious Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill will become obvious why it was a trading post. It feels like you have the city bowl at your feet and the mountains hugging and protecting you from the fierce Cape storms. Many more stories make up an even richer history of this Grand old Dame, but we will gladly share these stories with visitors.

Johan and Mias' love for people and architecture, led them to open their home to visitors. The apartment has a separate entrance and guests will have full privacy. Guest may decide how much interaction they prefer with their hosts and their two pets, Hanna (the Weimaraner) and Miela (the Miniature Schnauzer).
