Calm and genuinely welcoming host. The bedroom has a double bed with direct access to a balcony. Guests have their own bathroom which makes the stay really comfortable. Great company, good conversations, and a lovely shared dinner that made the stay feel more like visiting a friend than a regular booking.

Having stayed in many properties on this site ..this is simply the best. The apartment in all aspects was exceptional as was the location. However when this is combined with an efficient and welcoming host it elevates the experience further. Within a couple of hours it felt like staying with a friend in their home rather than a few nights anonymous bed and breakfast. Great conversations and a meal out together were a bonus. A minor issue with car parking was easily sorted and Garrett is a mine of local information. We will be booking again.

5 ⭐! I've just had a lovely stay at Garrett's beautiful home and I couldn't fault anything at all really. Right from the start, communicating with Garrett was effortless, and Garrett was very attentive to all of my questions. He was easy to keep in touch with before my stay, and made sure to check I was okay on the day of my arrival. Receiving the keys to the flat was effortless. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated, very neat and tidy and well maintained. Garrett made sure that tea/ coffee/ cereal/ milk etc were made available. The bed was so lovely and comfy, and towels were provided as well. Garrett was the perfect host, being mindful to give me enough privacy as I wanted, and yet, being warm, friendly and chatty when needed. Overall, I would definitely suggest Garrett's apartment to anyone who wants a clean, friendly and comfortable stay, and I look forward to staying there the next time I'm in Birmingham! Super comfortable apartment in a great location! The room and facilities were great, and Garrett was very hospitable and welcoming, providing recommendations for where to eat, etc. I really couldn't fault my stay. Highly recommended

The apartment itself is amazing - within easy reach of everything, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable that I could've spent all day there. Garrett himself was an amazing host - I've used apps like this countless times but I've never encountered such a thoughtful and kind host before . Experience of staying with Garrett was very pleasant, he is a very helpful and hospitable person. The apartment was very clean and modern. The location is in the center and very close to the train station. The window view was also beautiful. Overall a great experience, would recommend to anyone

If you need somewhere to stay in Birmingham, look no further. The other reviews speak for themselves too but seriously - Garrett's place is exceptional. He takes everything into consideration and I had a gorgeously comfortable stay. The bed is essentially a marshmallow, the flat is modern and cozy, and the whole place feels quiet and tranquil. Garrett is a gent. It was a pleasure to share his space for the week.

What a Gem! This is one of the best place I have stayed. Garrett was easy to communicate with through ******** so he was able to be there when I found the complex. The place is on the 5th floor yet there is a lift/elevator! and not just a miniscule freight elevator that barely one person fits in like most of Europe. This Lift could fit 8-10 people! Plenty of room for luggage and me. The building is very secure and the room was incredible: Clean, nicely lit, comfortable double bed , plenty of outlets, a wardrobe and a balcony to sit on and enjoy morning coffee. The bathroom is right across the hall and is just for the visitor/ME! Big tub, nicely designed hand held shower hose, and a wide selections of soaps and shampoos to use. Garrett offered additional towels without me needing to request any as he already supplied two. Also there is a fan in the bedroom and extra blankets if needed. Kitchen is very modern and good selection of coffee kups to run on the machine each morning. A range of cereals and milk was also provide, although I usually went out to grab breaky somewhere in town. Garrett is a very informed and helpful host. The place is a short walking distance to a bus stop or even a 8-10 minute walk to the Victoria Plaza area or Colmore Row. The place is near one of the many canals so there is a nice walk way by the canals to enjoy the tranquility. There are a few sensory gardens as well along the canal. Garrett also was the best host and invited me to go to his favorite Italian restaurant , a short walk form the apartment as well, for some amazing food. Throughout my stay, Garrett offered suggestions of day trips and things to do such as the art museum in Wolverhampton ( tram takes you from center of Birmingham to Wolverhampton in 22-24 minutes for about 6 pounds round trip, tickets can be bought at the tram stop), the custard factory in Digbeth (subsection of Birmingham so just about a 30 Min walk from the apartment) as well as some gay meet up groups to see what they had going on. Garrett was easy to talk to and very helpful. This was such a wonderful experience. Will definitely think of Garrett if I am in Birmingham again
