This is a single-volume apartment (loft-style, it seems) in the heart of Pont-Rousseau. The neighborhood is quiet. Technically, there's only one bedroom, on the mezzanine, and an extra bed (futon) in the study, which opens onto the communal space (closed by a curtain). Cosy apartment under the roof. The fully-equipped kitchen opens onto the living room. The bathroom has a bathtub. The building dates from the end of the 18th century, while the apartment is more modern in style. East-west facing, it's bright in the evening (more so than in the photos). It is possible to use the fireplace. Bathroom and WC are separate.

The roof insulation isn't great, and it can get very hot in the mezzanine in a heatwave. An air cooler is available, but you'd better be aware of it.

Ideal for 3 people, it can sleep up to 5 (without much privacy).

The Pont-Rousseau neighborhood adjoins Nantes (separated by the Sèvre nantaise) and is one of Rezé's historic districts. A quiet village atmosphere with a large number of shops and all amenities (including 2 streetcar lines and the train linking Nantes to the sea...), just a stone's throw from the Loire and Sèvre rivers (a nature trail in the heart of the metropolis!).

The Machines de l'Ile is a 10-minute bike ride away, as is Trentemoult (self-service bike rental system at Pont-Rousseau station).
