Reconnecting with the countryside, the silence, the weather, the time of day...
Glimpse from the bedroom, at dawn, a roe deer in the Orbiquet valley ...
Stopover or weekend,
Doing what we'd planned, or not .... Saturday morning market in Lisieux ...
Sunday morning coffee on the Planches de Deauville ...
Fresh air in the garden ...
A hike starting from home, criss-crossing the Pays d'Auge valleys on the route of castles and manors, or cider, or stud farms ...
You'll be staying in a "Maison de Maître" dating from 1857, respectfully restored and carefully decorated to make you feel like you're on vacation all year round: comfortable yet simple and authentic, in harmony with the typical Pays d'Auge countryside ....
Complimentary coffee machine, kettle, coffee and tea in your room (full breakfast available on request).
Everything is designed to enable you to arrive on a whim with just good shoes and a change of clothes.
Depending on the time and the mood, I'll be happy to chat with you, tell you about my passion for restoring my home, traveling, or let you enjoy the peace and quiet of the place.
The real masters of the house are Léon, Kelly, Taïga (the cats)... They'll be very curious and happy to meet you when they're not out chasing field mice. They never have access to your bedroom.
You'll have the use of a 35 m2 room - "suite privative" - on the 1st floor, with double bed, shower and washbasin area, sofa, breakfast area.
View across the Orbiquet Valley to the south and the horses of nearby Hara to the north.
The house has been awarded the "remarkable local heritage building" label by the Fondation du Patrimoine.
It is isolated in the countryside, yet only 5 minutes from all amenities.
Distances by car:
Lisieux town center: 10 min
Train station: 9 min
Basilica: 8 min
Deauville: 30 min, Cabourg: 35 min, Pont l'Evêque: 20 min, Honfleur: 38 min, Caen 55 min.

I'm very happy to welcome people from my community, for my own sake, to meet new people, and to share my home, which I'm crazy about, and which I know is characteristic of a very old Maison de Maître in a beautiful place: the Pays d'Auge.
