Historic 14 bedroom ‘newly acquired’ boutique hotel-formerly the nurses home of ‘The Lawn’, a converted 19th century psychiatric hospital, right next door to the castle and Lincoln’s magnificent cathedral, in the heart of the historic area of Lincoln and a 5 minute walk to the city centre.

All bedrooms have comfortable spacious beds, new mattresses and pillows and deluxe suites are also available with separate private lounges. A newly refurbished art deco inspired public lounge and bar serves wines, beers, spirits, cocktails and food. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with a large public car park adjacent to the property with CCTV for peace of mind. Situated right next door to the popular Stokes Lawn café, serving delicious food, 7 days a week and open late Thursday through to Saturday for evening dining. Additionally at the Lawn is a quirky coffee roastery offering coffee tours and experiences , a theatre offering regular music and theatrical performances, Independant restaurants and is close to many iconic pubs and bars. A complimentary continental breakfast is included in the price of the room and cooked breakfast upgrades are available upon request at reception.

The whole hotel can be taken over for special events or group getaways. The bar, lounge and orangery can be reserved for guests. Capacity for private events is 120 and comes with complete event coordination

Set in the beautiful leafy grounds of the former Lincoln lunatic asylum, renamed ‘The Lawn’ which operated as a hospital until the mid 1980’s. Purchased from the city of Lincoln in 2014 by RW Stokes & sons Ltd, the regional coffee giants (a Lincoln institution since 1902) the whole site benefited from a complete refurbishment in order to re-locate their head office, roastery, training centre, theatre vibrant cafe and restaurant as well as inviting a mix of tenants to occupy other areas of the site.
