200 year old former merchant’s house steeped in history, lovingly restored. Previous neighbours include the captain of the Titanic & the White Star Line owner on the same tranquil, beach front street. Visit the famous Crosby beach where you will find sculptors ‘Another Place’ by Sir Anthony Gormley or just walk along the coast and dunes. Direct trains from Waterloo station every 15 minutes into Liverpool City Centre (15 min ride). Alight at Moorfields for the gay village. Back in the house, if you’d like to chill, we have the whole house to relax, chat or enjoy the private, south facing, courtyard.

I had a very pleasant stay at Steve and Neil's place. The communication and explanations for getting to them were perfect. The room was very comfortable and the whole house was charming. nothing was missing. A big thank you to Neil for his welcome, his conversation, and his great sympathy. Also, thank you for the guided tour of the surroundings. I recommend it 100%
What an absolutely fantastic couple of nights staying at Steve & Neil's beautiful home....the photos certainly don't do it justice. Our room was lovely and made even better by the stunning view. On our arrival we had a great welcome from these lovely hosts. They can't do enough for their guests and pointed us in the direction of lots of places to see whilst in Liverpool. Their home is ideally located away from the city centre bustle but only a short distance by either car or train. We spent a great evening chatting and enjoying a glass of wine, and on one of the mornings Steve served up a wonderful breakfast.....what a lovely surprise. By the time we left, it was like saying bye to friends, and we will definitely be back. Thanks guys for everything!
An amazing place that I couldn’t recommend more! This beautiful 200-year-old house perfectly combines historic charm with elegant interior design, and the views of the beach are simply magnificent. The courtyard garden is stunning — a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxed afternoon chat if the weather allows. The place is peaceful, spotless, fully equipped, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. Within minutes, you can reach the beautiful beach for a scenic walk and admire the sculptures by Sir Anthony Gormley, or simply grab a coffee by the lake — it’s the perfect setting for a calm, rejuvenating weekend. The location is also excellent: just a short walk to the train station, and in 15 minutes you’re in Liverpool city centre. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby as well. The hosts were outstanding from the very beginning — they helped arrange transport from the airport, provided a detailed city guide complete with photos, and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Despite breakfast not being included (and the weather being wet), they even cooked breakfast for me on Sunday so I wouldn’t have to go out in the rain. They truly make you feel at home. I couldn’t have found a better place for a relaxing weekend in Liverpool!
The place is very beautiful and the house is magnificent, very good location, an excellent location facing the beach, and very close to "Another Place" a unique place. Steve's house is very beautiful, welcoming and with stunning decoration, his treatment and that of his partner are excellent, they prepared us a delicious breakfast and gave us very good recommendations about Liverpool. Thank you!
My stay at Marina Crescent was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by Steve and Neil, whose hospitality exceeded all my expectations. I was greeted with complimentary drinks—a lovely touch after a long journey—and to my surprise, the host even offered to prepare dinner! My accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly situated with stunning views of the beachfront. Whether I was enjoying a quiet morning coffee or an evening stroll along the waterfront, the atmosphere was serene and relaxing! Definitely recommended!
