Just a 5-minute drive away from the city of Gouveia, in the slopes of Serra da Estrela Mountain, Madre De Água Hotel Rural de Charme is located in a producing wine, cheese and olive oil farm.

Some Madre de Água rooms feature a seating area and all come with a private bathroom equipped with slippers, bathrobe and free Portuguese toiletries.

The restaurant on site serves regional cuisine in a warm atmosphere highlighted by the fireplace. Guests can enjoy in-room meals through room service.

During the day, guests can join the daily activities at the farm, like taking the sheep to pasture, wandering through the vineyards or enjoying a traditional picnic.

During warmer days, the outdoor pool invites you to refresh and sunbathe. Guests are welcome to participate in guided tours through the property and participate in farm activities, such as milking and shearing the sheep.

Serra da Estrela Natural Park is a 25-minute drive and the A23 motorway is a 45-minute drive, linking Torres Novas to Guarda, located 34 mi away.
