Unveiling the Hotel

São Lourenço do Barrocal is located in the foothills of the medieval village of Monsaraz and nearby the Alqueva lake. The pet-friendly property is set in a 780-hectare estate, which consists of a restaurant, a bar lounge, a pool bar, a Spa with fitness center, a winery and a store.

The hotel offers guest rooms and houses with countryside views. Every room is air-conditioned, has a TV with cable channels, a coffee machine and underfloor heating in all bathrooms.

All houses feature a spacious seating area, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen where guests are welcome to prepare their own meals. The on-site restaurant serves traditional Alentejo cuisine.

A seasonal outdoor pool and children's playing facilities are also available. Bicycles can be hired free of charge and the staff is available to help guests with car hire. The area is popular for horse riding and cycling, and other popular activities at the estate include picnics and wine tastings. Free private parking is available on site.
