Completely renovated in April 2017, the MEININGER Hotel Leipzig Hauptbahnhof is perfectly located in the heart of Leipzig. The nonsmoking hotel offers a 24-hour reception and free WiFi in all areas.

The contemporary-style rooms all include a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom equipped with a shower. USB sockets are available in every room.

A full breakfast buffet is offered between 06:30 and 10:30 each morning. Packed lunches are also available, while snacks and drinks can be purchased at reception. Other facilities for guests include the bar, gaming area, on-site laundry facilities and a guest kitchen.

The bathroom cleaning was not very good, I had to clean the Italian shower drain myself because the water wasn't draining and the bathroom was becoming a pool! There is also a lack of space, especially to properly place the suitcase when open, and let's not forget the cabinet above the sink that I hit my head on several times. Putting a cabinet directly above the sink is a very bad idea.
