Unveiling the Hotel

Hotel Terrasse am See is located on the banks of Lake Lucerne, at the steamboat landing stage and the Rigi Mountain Railway Station in Vitznau. The historic hotel was opened in 1873 and dates from the earliest days of the railway service to Mount Rigi. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property.

The hotel celebrates Swiss traditions and each floor of the hotel tells a story of the railway and the house. The uniquely decorated rooms with attached bathroom at the Hotel Terrasse am See are furnished in historic style with carefully restored pieces of period furniture and old parquet floors. They feature seating areas, wired internet access as well as free WI-Fi, and some of them have a balcony.

The accommodations has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains from the terracce or the garden

We do have parking spaces available. They must be reserved in advance and cost CHF 10.00 per night
