Unveiling the Hotel

Opened on Queen Victoria's coronation day in June 1838, the Royal Bath Hotel Bournemouth was the first hotel in Bournemouth.

Just moments away from the seafront, this classically styled hotel has well-equipped rooms, each including a satellite TV. Some rooms also offer views of the secluded grounds and across the Bournemouth Coastline.

Bournemouth town center is just a few minutes' walk away where guests can enjoy all that the town has to offer. This includes the beautiful Bournemouth Garden's, Bournemouth International Center, the Pavillion, as well as assorted shopping, restaurants, bars and nightlife.

The hotel features a number of dining options including Oscar's Brasserie, serving buffet-style Breakfast & Dinner daily, the Bar & Lounge which offers Tea & Coffee, Alcoholic Drinks, Afternoon Tea, and a Lunch/Dinner menu, or the Café Promenade which overlooks the pier and serves Tea, Coffee, Smoothies, and Ice Creams in the summer.

Guests can also enjoy access to the Health & Leisure club during their stay for a small surcharge. The Leisure center facilities include an indoor heated pool, equipped gym, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and café.

This old dame of a hotel was opened when Queen Victoria was crowned. Opulence and glamour of yesteryear do shine through and it has a spa for when the beach is not an option.
