Spacious Home (With Pool) 5 Miles from French Quarter!

EricĀ·5Ā·Sep. 2026Ā·Ā "Steve and his husband Gavin are the epitome of Southern hospitality. They were incredibly generous with their time and space, and even offered us a couple of rides into the French Quarter. We probably weren't the easiest group to accommodate at times ā my buddies needed to check in early, and Gavin made it work, and when we asked about coffee, there was plenty in the pot, and even disposable cups to take with us.
They made us feel very much at ease and welcome in their home. We got to meet some of their friends, hang out with them all in the pool, and then run into them again at the Phoenix during Decadence. They also gave us great advice on getting around, which bars to check out, when to go for the parade, and where to eat. NOLA Po'boys was one of their recommendations on the first day, and we ended up going back several times throughout the trip, so I'd say that was a pretty solid recommendation!
The bed was super comfortable and gave us a good place to recuperate from all the decadence. The pool was also a great reprieve from the heat, although the mosquitoes eventually drove us inside at times.
The location wasn't the most convenient to the French Quarter, but honestly, it was well worth taking a few Ubers to have a comfortable place to come back to. More than anything, I really appreciated how welcoming and relaxed Steve and Gavin were. It made the whole stay feel easy, and I'm really grateful for their hospitality."

ScottĀ·5Ā·Feb. 2024Ā·Ā "Took a chance being the first person to stay at this location and it was extremely WELL WORTH IT!!
Very safe neighborhood. Easy to find. Easy access. Well decorated. Clean. Homey feeling. A ton of nice touches and amenities. Spacious (we had 3 people with us). I would definitely stay here again.
And the icing on the cake here is that the host was very communicative, accommodating, and just a nice guy in general.
Could not be happier with this booking. ššš"

TerryĀ·4Ā·Apr. 2026Ā·Ā "The Mardi Gras inn is a great location for everything that we needed and wanted to do. The place is old and there is wear and tear. We didn't have a remote for our ac so we were at the mercy of what it was set on. For anyone that is into the leather and bear scene this is a great location to walk to the bars. Phoenix is a block away. The other bars (like rawhide) are within a 15-20 minute walk."
