Carlos·5·Aug. 2020· "Amazing facilities! top of the line resort. Most impressive, they have understood and follow all CDC guidelines for social distance and sanitation; a truly example of how this country should orderly open up. Staff is cordial and was wearing masks at al times to protect all; kudos for a hardworking, highly professional staff. I would categorize Isla Bella as an elite resort (in the most positive way) but the mixed international background of the guest makes of Isla Bella a very interesting stay. Not a resort for younger people or teens, but certainly perfect for families or young couples. Be aware that the price of the room does not include much of the many hotel amenities use (like daily parking) We had and incredible relaxing time and enjoyed our first ever jet sky lesson; highly recommend CJ (or TJ?) as fun lead instructor for aquatic activities. We felt welcomed and taken care at all times. Thank y'all for a wonderful stay!"

Cabins at Bonefish Bay

Tim·5·Apr. 2025· "We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Bonefish Bay, in one of the wooden log cabins. I’ll admit I was a bit worried beforehand after reading some of the older, very negative ******** reviews—but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Both rooms had AC, the kitchen was surprisingly well-equipped given the small space, and the shower was great. Everything was super clean and felt really welcoming. The cabin (actually more of a trailer-style log cabin) was easily a 5/5 for us. When we arrived, we had a friendly chat with the lovely woman at the front office. Not even ten minutes later, we were already out on the water in the kayaks, which are included free of charge with your stay. (They also have bikes available, although we didn’t end up using them.) Just behind our cabin, there was a beautiful porch with cozy lighting and a thatched roof, right by the water. It had two large BBQ grills and plenty of seating—a great spot to hang out in the evening. There’s also a pickleball court and a nice pool on the property, which added to the whole relaxed, fun vibe. All in all, we can absolutely recommend the cabins at Bonefish Bay for your next trip to the Keys. P.S. We asked about the bad ******** reviews and were told that the current owners bought the place a while ago and completely overhauled it. The photos online don’t even reflect what it looks like now!"
