John·5·Jan. 2025· "Located just a few blocks down from Termini station, Generator is in the middle of everything in Rome (provided you don't mind walking). The neighborhood is definitely gentrifying, but considering the room price, it is not that big a deal.
There are plenty of places to get Italian food, Indian food, doner kebabs, and even Chinese within a block or two. There's a Metro stop two blocks away, and Termini station for longer trips.
I'll be staying here again the next time I come to Rome!"

Dan·4·Mar. 2025· "Room was big and clean however no amenities that where mentioned on the booking such as kitchen area. Not even a kettle and some cups. Just a bed, wardrobe and and bathroom.
There is nothing lgbtqia+ about this venue in fact it's in the most homophobic part of the city with drug dealers and pick pockets on the door step of the hotel. On dau of arrival a homeless man was urinating against a car outside the entrance to the hotel. First night on walk back to hotel I was surrounded by two drug dealers and they ripped my neckless from my neck and ran."

Good communication by email, office is only staffed during daytime. Be advised there are stairs, including steps to enter the building. Would stay again."

Joseph·5·May. 2024· "Lovely. It was all set up, clean, and check in was personal and easy. Building is under active improvements but that didn't negatively affect us in any way at all. We'll book again and it'll be even more sparkly. Lift was always available too - like with most places in Italy, you need to get up about 6 steps, then the lift is there for the rest. Location is terrific - we walked most everywhere and not far from metro lines. There's a terrific restaurant right downstairs, Ristorcaffè Vecchia Roma, run by a family that is so great, we ate nearly every meal there!"

It's not the most luxurious, but it's very nice, it's comfortable and for resting and feeling good it's more than enough, especially for those of us who don't like sharing a room and bathroom, which can be annoying depending on who you share with. I liked it."
