The pleasure of being able to access the host's common areas, lounge and pool is an additional asset. The house is in the middle of a rice field 3 km from Ubud which gives it additional charm, but you need to plan for your scooter as it is mandatory since communications are complicated. They were super helpful and gave us great tips for exploring the city and going on some amazing hikes. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with them!"

Solomon·5·May. 2024· "I communicated with Yidy in advance about my work trip in the area and was able to coordinate to stay for a week. The place is tucked away in the woods. Very quiet, with occasional wildlife sightings such as deer and foxes. You will need a vehicle to go to town.
Yidy welcomed me to his humble home. It has a simple basic setting. Little distraction, great for my work trip. Toby is quiet for a Chihuahua. Well trained indoor dog. During my stay, I was able to use the kitchen for some basic cooking to save me the takeout costs. The kitchen is equipped with essentials, but do not expect everything in perfect condition. The living room was a bit messy with a large pile of opened boxes as if the host was in the middle of a project. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The shower works great. I had a clean room to go to to rest my head after a long day at work outside. I am a minimalist, and the place offers what I need. Great value for the area. I am happy that I was able to stay despite Yidy was busy with projects on his end. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoys a slow and simple living."
