Hi! my name is Issac, nickname Yidy —and that’s what I go by. I recently moved from NYC to East Stroudsburg, Pensylvania, I bought a house. So I figured why not to Misterb&b! I’d love to get know likeminded people and become friends for ever:). This could certainly be a great opportunity, as I love getting to know new people! The entire house is free for you to use as you wish —kitchen, washer dryer etc.,except for my room, but I may make an exception 😜 Feel at home and come and go as you please. (Groups are welcome!) We can hang out together (if you’d like :)), watch a movie together; there is nice sized, cozy, very comfy loft with a 65” TV. I can cook dinner for you (I love to cook, I cook for myself every day). Oh, and I have a very cute tiny chihuahua, she’s the most precious and adorable dog, her name is Toby:) And she weighs only 5LB!

I communicated with Yidy in advance about my work trip in the area and was able to coordinate to stay for a week. The place is tucked away in the woods. Very quiet, with occasional wildlife sightings such as deer and foxes. You will need a vehicle to go to town. Yidy welcomed me to his humble home. It has a simple basic setting. Little distraction, great for my work trip. Toby is quiet for a Chihuahua. Well trained indoor dog. During my stay, I was able to use the kitchen for some basic cooking to save me the takeout costs. The kitchen is equipped with essentials, but do not expect everything in perfect condition. The living room was a bit messy with a large pile of opened boxes as if the host was in the middle of a project. Overall, I had a comfortable stay. The shower works great. I had a clean room to go to to rest my head after a long day at work outside. I am a minimalist, and the place offers what I need. Great value for the area. I am happy that I was able to stay despite Yidy was busy with projects on his end. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoys a slow and simple living.

Yidy was a welcoming host for my partner and I. We were just stopping by on a road trip and he was very communicative as we traveled. He is friendly and interesting. The space was perfect for what we were looking for and his little dog was adorable. Would definitely stay again!

Yidy made sure my stay was pleasant and welcoming. The home is peaceful and cozy just as the title described. I had some awesome conversations during my stay. And even if you were not an animal lover. You will fall in love with toby. The cutest little dog on earth. I would be back again next trip in the area.

Yidy is a good host: friendly, kind and attentive. Check-in and Communication was great. We got lost the first night finding the place and he was patience enough to help us find it. We had a few nice chats and he prepared a big pot of coffee every morning! :) Location is perfect if you want peace and nature. 15-20 min by car from main attractions in the Poconos.
